One-to-one surgeries at DVD 2012

TRaC’s EMC and Environmental experts providing one-to-one surgeries at DVD 2012

DVD is one of the most important events in the defence diary for those involved in the equipment and support for the UK's Land Forces. DVD is Defence Equipment and Support's (DE&S) annual stakeholder event for the Land Equipment community. DVD brings together the acquisition community with military personnel and industry organisations for two days of informal discussion and briefings.

TRaC will be exhibiting at stand SP44/45 in the steering pad and will have a number of our EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) and Environmental qualification experts providing one-to-one surgeries throughout the event. Our engineering experts are on hand to provide advice on physical testing, as well as Early Stage Qualification (ESQ) activities to ensure successful qualification of defence equipment.

TRaC’s test services replicate the electromagnetic, climatic and mechanical conditions encountered in the defence environment in order to qualify the survivability, reliability and interference-free functionality of defence equipment before entering into service. EMC, Vibration, Shock and CE marking /E-marking are major considerations for vehicle and subsystem manufacturers on defence vehicle platforms and TRaC. During 2012, TRaC have made significant investment in future proofing the UK’s capability to test against the evermore demanding in-theatre environments and threats, including the opening of a new £2m EMC and Environmental test centre of excellence and a major future-proof refurbishment of our heavy vehicle EMC test chamber.

Our new facilities will provide the MoD and the defence industry with access to additional test resource to meet the demanding time frames of UORs as well as qualification support to conventional defence procurement  programmes

If you would like to book a one-to-one surgery in advance, please contact us at 01926 478514 or email test@tracglobal.com

We look forward to seeing you at stand SP44/45 on 20th and 21st June 2012.
