TRaC has worked on a variety of Rail projects over the years with projects covering both physical testing and simulation analysis.
Typical projects include impact analysis, thermal analysis together with shock and vibration. The TRaC team has experience of analysing whole vehicle structures for the Rail industries.

- TurboPower - auxiliary power mechanical structural, CFD temperature
- Rail Seating analysis for north American and Chinese railway (underground) companies - the passenger seating analysis was to develop abuse loading of the seating systems
- Roof mounted temperature control systems - Vibration analysis project
